UPDATE: October 25,2013

Friday, October 25th, 2013, was a big day for the New London Veteran Memorial Park.  The tablets with veterans names were placed on the foundations at the site along with two benches.  The fallen soldier with a plaque will be here within the next two weeks.  The statues of the two soldiers will be here at a later date and the dedication will be in the spring of 2014.

Please be aware that the memorial is for our living veterans as well as the deceased.  There is a miscoception that it's only for the deceased, not so.  Living veteran's names will be placed on the memorial also.

Applications will continue to be taken and the fee will remain at $150.  The veterans names will be engraved on site annualy or when there are enough new names to warrant the engraver making a trip to New London.
